eMarketer reports that businesses in Canada are looking beyond the channels of TV, radio and print and directing precious advertising dollars to platforms like social media, digital video and search. Mobile is king in 2022 as cell phones wield incredible buying power: $4 out of $5 digital ad dollars will come from mobile.

Throw in social media engagement phenoms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok and the buying frenzy is just getting started. Brands must develop ad strategies to meet their customers where they are (hello, mobile-first ad designs) while striving to pop up in the increasingly popular ‘Near Me’ searches.
