Famous Okanagan 'Winspringmmer' Is Here!
I love this time of year in the Kelowna, BC... when winter fog rolls away for more than a few minutes, the sun breaks through for a high of +7 degrees and Okanagan locals start wearing shorts... any excuse will do for some people!
Yesterday I was thinking of this great shoulder season that is so unique to our part of the world. It's almost a 3 season cross over - winter, spring, summer all at the same time... Winspringmmer! So to celebrate Winspringmmer, the optimists at Twin Creek Media are holding a "Best Reason to Live in Okanagan" contest on Facebook. Give us your best reason! We want to hear it! If you aren't lucky enough to live here, perhaps tell us why you want to. ;-) There will be 2 official winners announced Friday, March 16th at 4 pm.
