Get to Know Art Director/Partner, Christina Vân
For Christina, there are no better words to describe success than "hard work", "dedication", and "passion". Far from mere cliches, it is with great gratitude to her parents who taught her these values: two Vietnamese immigrants who fled the communists of the Viet Nam War on a packed little boat. After multiple attacks from pillaging pirates, to a year in a Thai immigration camp, they arrived bare-handed in a land that spoke to them with a foreign tongue. Their sacrifices were made so that their children would grow up in an environment of opportunity and freedom. These sacrifices have not been taken for granted. Christina has always had the passion and drive, and she strives to put in more than expected--with a positive attitude.
Christina received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia Okanagan in 2011 and was an active member of her graduation council, contributing extensive design work. This included the complete design of the year-end catalog which was noted as the best catalog the Fine Arts professors have ever seen. As Twin Creek Media's "summer intern" for 5 summers in a row she was exposed to the world of business and marketing. Since 2007, the words from Confucius have never been more true: "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." Christina became a partner in Twin Creek Media in 2012, and looks forward to many happy years to come. :)
