New Marketing & Advertising Grants Announced
New grant for Okanagan businesses and another grant for BC Food & Beverage companies could help boost your company!
We’ve spoken to so many small businesses with fantastic concepts and ideas which are limited by the $$$’s to spend on implementing them. The Level-Up Local Technology Grant
Accelerate Okanagan, together with the Prospera Credit Union, offers the “Level-Up Local Technology Grant” to entrepreneurs and small businesses in the Okanagan region. The main focus here is to support small businesses in the Okanagan Valley with financial support and mentorship to adopt new technologies or elevate their digital strategies.
The process of applying for this grant starts by connecting with an Accelerate Okanagan business advisor who will support you through the process. Your grant funding can be used for tech upgrades and digital improvements such as website development, hardware systems and software upgrades such as CRMs, and digital marketing improvements such as SEO, paid advertising, and content creation.
Are you eligible? You fulfill the basic requirements for this grant if you:
- are located in the Okanagan (Osoyoos to Salmon Arm),
- have the capacity to manage the project,
- treat technology as an organizational priority, and
- are an Accelerate Okanagan member or a Prospera client.

The Buy BC Partnership Program
If you operate in the agriculture, seafood, or food & beverage sector as a producer, processor, or industry association, the Buy BC Partnership program offers up to $2 million in cost-shared funding for your local marketing activities.
Eligible activities for funding under this program include:
- Product packaging & labeling with a buy BC logo.
- Paid advertising on digital, radio, print, transit, and TV
- Designing, developing, and printing marketing collateral and material
- BC-focused market development tradeshows and sales expositions
- BC focused on in-store demonstrations and promotions
- Staff wages
To be eligible to apply for this grant, you must:
- Hold a valid and approved “Buy BC Logo License.”
- Have a minimum of $30,000 in annual revenue for the past two years
- Have a head office in BC or authorized to do business in BC.
