Get to Know Technical Director/Partner, Thomas Berger
Born and raised in Germany, Thomas Berger grew up in an entrepreneurial, tech-savvy family. Some of Thomas' earliest memories are of formatting 5 1/2" floppy disks... who needs Lego when you have piles of 386 motherboards? By age 15 he was helping out in the family business on weekends--relied on as the whiz kid who knew how to fix the brand new digital kiosks just installed in banks across Germany. Thomas Berger has been a key team member of Twin Creek Media since its early "college days" beginnings.
Immigrating to Canada in 2004 to study digital design and programming, Berger gained a solid background in web technologies and later specialized in web development languages and interface design. An accomplished mySQL/PHP developer, he combines the power of database-driven websites and Javascript magic to build amazing online experiences. He transitioned from employee to business partner in 2011. When not kayaking Okanagan Lake with his wife, or seeking out a good beer garden, you can find Thomas coding and problem-solving in Twin Creek's home base in Kelowna, British Columbia.
