On long weekends Kristina will be camping with her family and teaching her daughters how to fish (like true Northern Girls).

With 9+ years of experience navigating a diverse network of design streams, she skillfully blends insightful storytelling with vivid visual communication, making complex subjects approachable and compelling for every audience.
A Multifaceted Marketing Creative
Kristina’s creative style has been applied throughout her career, from vivid artwork to brand identities, interior decorating, and pet industry labels. Her knack for making visuals digestible and appealing matches her passion for clear, relatable marketing copy. Kristina knows how to take a complex or vague idea and distill it into digestible communication. Whether crafting engaging brand stories or visually captivating designs, she always focuses on clarity, creativity, and connection.
Kristina worked with a team on crafting Hemp & Body Co.’s visual identity and voice—from logo, web design, and packaging to typography, content writing, and defining the brand’s mission and values.

Kristina is a proud art-school drop-out, but she continues to paint in her free time and sells prints on her website.
Western Canadian Roots
A proud Canadian, her roots stretch across cultures—from Vikings to Red River Métis to European migrants escaping both WWI and II, her elders established their families in the prairie provinces. Growing up in a multicultural rural Alberta home instilled an appreciation for diverse perspectives and hard work… and fishing.
Reflecting on her journey, she credits much of her creative confidence to her high school art teacher, Bobbie Deno. Her mentorship encouraged Kristina’s creative path and eventually led her to study (and drop out of) Fine Arts at UBCO. That particular major wasn't quite "business-y" enough for her, but it provided a solid foundation for her design studies.
Of Dragons and Buddhism
Few things disturb Kristina’s zen more than poor communication, environmental neglect, or painting over a beautiful brick fireplace. Her ideal afternoon consists of reading a good fantasy novel in a hammock under the trees. She values meaningful connections, and authenticity—both vital in marketing and life. Kristina tries to keep her Karma clean and her stress low, striving for truth and balance in all pursuits.
